Any additional instruments (Piano in this example) are indicated by "w/" (meaning "with") or by using a plus sign. One of the most sought after periods for Olds Cornet before production was increased. Serial number which according to various sources puts the date of manufacture as a 1952 Olds cornet. The Studio is not as dark sounding as the Olds Recording or as bright as the Super making it a great all round cornet and perfect for all styles of music from classical to jazz. These early Studio models had a silver end to the bell flair, which looks fantastic and gives the horn a rich tone.
